Krishna and Sankirtana: The Supreme Purifying Energy Transformer--Prayer Part II

Sankirtana old daysContinuing on our theme of how everything is energy, particularly in regard to our thoughts, attitudes, and prayers. They are sort of like magnets that attract similar energy and people. We are our faith, attachments, and attitudes. They create our desires and determine what we attract into our life, and how we interpret and use them. We also become like those we associate with. This is why the importance of saintly association is stressed--it spiritually affects our consciousness, and our consciousness determines our future life. Consciousness, faith, attachment, and attitude, are all related and really inseparable. They give a picture of our identity--either a resident of the material or spiritual worlds.

Couple praying together
At last weekends couple's retreat in South Africa my wife and I gave couples different tools to help their marriages, and also different ways of thinking about themselves and their problems. New Orleans Ratha Yatra 2009 - Day 1

Attracted by the Mayapurian hospitality of the New Orleans devotees, hundreds of devotees of various towns today have taken their journey to the Bayou.  Several months ago I was given an invitation to attend.   The invite was as follows, “The first 100 devotees who register will be given a free hotel room.”  However I think they have lifted that 100 family limit and now are making arrangements for whoever else may come to town.
