Japa Workshop Day 2
Today was another wonderful day for the Japa Weekend. As Mahatma Prabhu instructed, Japa Weekend does not just mean the 10am - 6 pm time period that you are at the seminar/workshop, no it is actually the whole weekend that you must commit to so that you can get full benefit.
Japa Workshop Day One.
Japa Workshop Day One.
I have just had the privilege to attend day one of the japa workshop here in Dallas and it is wonderful. There is so much could be said but I would just like to focus on one element, the mood. Upon arriving at the program it was immediately noticeable the loving mood that was present amongst the devotees. Mahatma Prabhu and others very intelligently arranged everything that somehow it produced a very loving mood amongst the devotees.

The Urge for Urj
His Grace Urjasvat Prabhu has been leading devotees in the chanting of the Holy Names since the early 70's. His blissful and soulful chanting has inspired devotees all around the world. Perhaps you know his singing of the "Govinda Jaya Jaya, Gopala Jaya Jaya" track on the first New York Kirtans album or perhaps you know his kirtans from New York or LA Ratha Yatras.

A day before Dallas Ratha Yatra and everyone is in ecstatic preparation for the Lord festival. The Lord kindly gives His appearance prior to his debut Chariot festival. Pritha was peeling potatoes for tomorrows feast and while blissfully engaging in that seva she discover the smiling face of Lord Jagannatha. My hope is that He will soon also appear in my heart.
