The saying that it, "Takes two to tango" is a very old American expression. It is a dance from my parents' era. So I am saying it takes two to dance, which also may be dated, but you catch my drift. (It is more fun to do the "Swami step" in kirtana with more people than to do line dancing or to be thrown around in the mosh pit.) The idea I am getting out here is that relationships are between two people as are conflicts and disagreements. (People are sometimes conflicted with different "parts...

This could be a trick question if you look at it from a certain perspective. However, this is not a math question. In math zero is important in relation to numbers having value as a placeholder, and in other ways. There would be no computers as we know them without zero etc. Anyway I never liked math, which says something about me I suppose. Certainly who we "associate" with is a person we have a relationship with. Yet in this blog I have focused on the general principle of the importance of the company we keep. In another blog I will focus more on HOW we relate to each other. It is said that, "A person is known by the company they keep". That is...

Tue, 11/27/2007 - 09:29 — NityānandaChandra Govardhana Puja is one of my favorite holidays especially here in Dallas. Every year my wife and I, with the help of the youth from ISKCON Dallas, have the opportunity of organizing and building of Govardhana Hill. A lot of preparation is put into creating this festival. We make a six foot replica of Govardhana Hill out of cake and because of this there is a need to make a mold of the hill so that the cake can be layered on top. Caitanya Candra Prabhu...
