Sat, 09/29/2007 - 14:26 — NityānandaChandra This is has been a wonderful week here at Sri Sri Radha Kalachandji Dhama in Dallas Texas. We had several weeks of temple tours. Our temple in Dallas is accompanied by a fantastic restaurant, Kalachandji's. Because of the restaurant the temple is a hot spot for tourist and students. Personally I feel that having a restaurant next to the temple is a real blessing. The people that come to visit know that it is a public place and open to guests of all...

This is a good question for any of us to ask regularly. It means that there are layers of meaning in anything we or anyone does. We have to be introspective to understand our conditioning, and how it negatively impacts our life and our relationships. Always remember Krishna and never forget him. Do what is...

Today will bring a full moon. It was quite beautiful this morning, so please take some time to see it tonight or tomorrow morning. And with the full moon comes the first day of another Vedic month. Now wouldn't that be great to have that as the standard for the world? It just seems so natural to begin a month with the moon, and acknowledging it's influence and our dependence on the cycles of nature. I remember many years ago when I lived in the Berkeley Temple. We had a bhakta program (for...

Today is the appearance day of Haridas Thakur, who is called the "namacharya" or the teacher of the holy name. He appeared at the time of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (the special mercy incarnation for the times we live). On these special appearance or disappearance days of great saints, it is a good practice to read about them, and appreciate their contribution to the path of Bhakti (devotion). In addition we can pray to them to help us make spiritual progress. I don't have time this morning to...
