Here you are in front of the main gate of our ISKCON Mayapur temple complex. You can pan around 360 degrees by clicking and dragging your cursor over the image. And if you wait a while, you’ll be in for a special treat.
Once the 90 sub-locations that make up this virtual reality walk-through have finished loading (it will take up to ten minutes on a broadband connection, and about 2.5 hours on a dial-up modem) you’ll see the cursor change to a forward arrow when you move over “hotspots” indicating you can click to move in that direction. You’ll then be able to move around the Mayapur temple complex, walk to the Ganges, enjoy panoramic views from the top of Srila Prabhupada’s Samadhi, visit their Lordships Sri Sri Radha-Madhava, visit the Goshalla, the Gurukula, stroll through rice paddy fields, and so much more.
TIP: The bottom bar on your web browser window should show you the progress as this VR movie’s many scenes (referred to as “items” by the web browser) download. You’ll have to wait for all items to finish loading before you can move around the virtual ISKCON Mayapur temple complex.
