Wish you could see the Deities more often? One of Krishna.com’s most popular features, the temple webcast, gets an upgrade this month. Just click the magnifying glass and images from your favorite temple will appear up to four times larger than before, with a darkened background for less distraction.

Tulasi-Priya

Krishna TV: Video Blogs

Here at Krishna.com, we’re always trying to find new ways to keep you spiritually informed, uplifted, and entertained. So this month, we grabbed our video camera and a microphone and went off to create a new series of video interviews with inspired devotees of Krishna.

In Dealing with Disease, Tulasi Priya Dasi talks about why caring for the health of your body is important for your spiritual life. Badahari Dasa follows up with several more video blogs on our relationship with Krishna, how to chant the Hare Krishna mantra on beads, and the benefits of chanting. Check them out!

Rasa

Featured Blog: Rasa108

Sometimes it’s a struggle, at other times we relish every repetition of the maha-mantra. But whatever our mood, us aspiring Krishna devotees always try our best to chant Hare Krishna regularly. That’s why Rasa108’s blog is so essential: It’s a chronicling of a self-confessed “Japaholic’s” thoughts, realizations, struggles and victories – something we can all relate to. So check out Rasa108’s blog and become a Japaholic too!

Japa

Events: Upcoming Japa Retreats

If our very own Rasa108 lived in the US instead of Australia, you’d probably find him at every one of these! Every lover of Krishna needs fellowship and inspiration to support them in their chanting of the Holy Names, and The Japa Retreat has done just that for hundreds of devotees. Join them and give yourself a spiritual head-start in the new year by attending the Florida retreat in January, or take part in the California or New York retreats later in the year.

Govardhana

Audio: Ananda Vrindavana Champu

There’s nothing like an expert narrator to make a great story greater. In our new audio series, professional voice artist Harinama Chintamani Dasi brings Krishna stories from Kavi Karnapur’s Ananda Vrindavan Champu to life. Choose either Damodara: Binding Sri Krishna or Lifting Govardhana Hill, and absorb yourself in these wonderful pastimes.

Kurma

Food: Kurma’s Blog

This month, we are delighted to welcome master chef Kurma Dasa to our food channel. A world-renowned TV personality, he travels the world teaching vegetarian cooking. Here he gives his advice on all aspects of cooking and vegetarianism, as well as letting you in on some of his choicest recipes. Don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself in the kitchen cooking furiously – you’ve been warned!

Prabhupada book

Read: Srila Prabhupada Book Video

Last month we presented Srila Prabhupada, an intimate and inspiring peek into the life of one of the greatest saints of modern times. Now you can browse the book yourself before buying it. In this video, Rupa Dasi from the Krishna.com Store shows you the amazing photographs and explains why this book is so important.
