BG Chap 15 - Kṛṣṇa maintains the the jīvas - by giving liberation

Having shown that He alone helps the living beings to enjoy in the material world, Kṛṣṇa next shows how He alone enables them to get liberation. Kṛṣṇa alone is to be known by all the Vedas, for it is He who is praised by all the Vedas: yo’sau sarvair vedair gīyate (Gopāla Tāpanī Upaniṣad 2.23). He is to be known indirectly thru the karma-kāṇḍa portion of the Vedas and directly thru the jñāna-kāṇḍa portion of the Vedas. Kṛṣṇa produced the final conclusion of the Vedas, Vedānta-sūtra, by taking the form of Veda Vyāsa. Kṛṣṇa alone knows the real meaning of the Vedas. The meaning which He had determined by becoming Vyāsa is the meaning of the Vedas. Any other meaning is filled with error. Thus He alone enables the jīva to get liberation.
