BG Chap 15 - Kṛṣṇa maintains the the jīvas - by nourishing the eatables

It is Kṛṣṇa alone who accomplishes the material enjoyment for the jīva, who is attached to the material world, and it is He alone who accomplishes liberation for the jīva who desires freedom from the material world.

Kṛṣṇa also supports all beings by entering the earth, which is just a lump of dust, and makes it firm. By His power, the planets stay in orbit. Becoming the moon, made of nectar, Kṛṣṇa supplies the juice of life to all vegetables. He nourishes all plants such as rice. He makes things full of various tasty flavors. Kṛṣṇa accomplishes the experience of the various tastes of the jīva by making places of enjoyment such as palace, gardens and playgrounds.
