BG Chap 16 - The demons treatment of the Lord

Bewildered by false ego, strength, pride, lust and anger, the demons disrespect the Supreme Lord, situated as the controller and maintainer in all bodies including theirs, and they also disrespect the Vedas which describe the Lord. They hate the Lord since they hate the devotees who have surrendered to the Lord. They ascribe faults to the qualities of the devotees, the Vedas and the Supreme Lord by dishonest logic. Their false ego tells them that they are doing things independently. Taking shelter of their strength, they think they alone are the victors. Taking shelter of their arrogance, they say there is none equal to them. Taking shelter of lust, they say their desires are greater than the desires of all others’ combined. Taking shelter of anger they think they would kill their enemies.
