BG Chap 18 - More confidential knowledge

Kṛṣṇa says that He has explained knowledge which is more confidential than the knowledge of brahma-bhūta. One who is in brahma-bhūta condition is joyful, and never laments nor desires anything. That is due to confidential knowledge. Kṛṣṇa has now described knowledge of the Supersoul, which is more confidential. He has declared this knowledge, the scripture of the Gītā, which is the means to understand karma, bhakti, and jñana. Jñana is more secret than the scriptures which teach mantras. Kṛṣṇa has revealed a scripture, jñana, which is more confidential than the scriptures written by Vasiṣṭha, Vyāsa or Nārada. In relation to these sages’ omniscience, Kṛṣṇa’s is infinite. Kṛṣṇa asks Arjuna to deliberate on this knowledge thoroughly and do as he wishes to do. This indicates that Kṛṣṇa does not interfere with the independence of the living entity. The best advice imparted to Arjuna is to surrender unto the Supersoul seated within his heart. By right discrimination, one should agree to act according to the order of the Supersoul. That will help one become situated constantly in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the highest perfectional stage of human life.
