Slow and steady wins the race! Only $12,000 $5,221 more is needed to keep alive and vibrant for the next six months. A big THANK YOU to those who've contributed to our Fall Fundraiser so far. If everyone gave a few dollars (say, between five and fifty) we could get rid of this banner and go back to doing what we love most: helping people all over the Internet discover Krishna. If you give $25 or more, we'll email you a gift of the Bhagavad-gita audio book. How about that? Click here to donate.

Vintage movie clip — Nimai of Nadia

A 1959 black and white dramatization of the early life of history's most revolutionary divine mystic — "Nimai of Nadia."

When Lord Chaitanya was a child, he was called Nimai, as shown on a clip from this vintage Bengali movie about His young life.

Rumor has it that the producers of this rare 1959 black and white film required the actor playing the title role (the adult Nimai) to observe strict celibacy (brahmacharya) for 2 years prior to the making of this film.
