BG Chap 16 - The behavior of the demons
Demonic people do not know what is to be performed as dharma (pravṛtti) and what is to be avoided as adharma (nivṛtti). Not having any regard for the Vedas, they do not know the scriptural injunctions or the scriptural prohibitions of actions. They base their actions on bodily consciousness and thus act with little concern for truth or the welfare of others. They lack internal and external cleanliness needed for following Vedic injunctions. They have no proper behavior.
