Say Hello

Hare Krsna from Sweden

Hare Krsna!

I'm new here and I'm hoping to get to know some new friends. I don't have any Krsna-councious people near me, which is also the reason why I associate only as much as I have to with any of the people around me.
I was hoping to find some friends here to speak with about Krsna and all the subjects thereof, which with the correct point of view would mean any topic at all.
I'm a 22 year old student from Sweden, studying computer programming during school and studying the Vedas from home.
Who are you? :)
I am so happy that I found this forum, and I'm eager to get to know you all!

Hello members,

Hope to get some great tips here.

Greetings from Canada!

Hello! I very new to this. I am currently reading the Bhagavad-Gita while away on an internship in California. The internship is a challenge and very different from the life I have in Canada and so I am struggling to feel comfortable here. By reading Bhagavad-Gita I find it is helping me understand and come to peace with a lot of things. After exploring the internet I came across this website and look forward to learning much more on here.

hare kersna from east tennessee!!

Hello I'm from east tennessee. I live in a very christian family minus my brother and uncle who are athist. I'm venturing into kerishna consciousness myself. I've read about five books from A.C bhaktivedanta swami prabhupada. And two from bhakti vikasa swami.

I live on a small rural town in east Tennessee, I'm 22 and worked at a McDonald's for two years. I met a few devotees in N.C in june of 2012. I then jpined them on the road for two weeks. I got back and was fired. I try to chant my 16 rounds and read daily. Though I do this in privet do to very christian parents. They frown on thesse things.

Anyway I'm here to meet other devotees to help me in my journey.

HARE KERISHNA!!!

My name is Morgan and I am new to the movement. I have just started attending my local ISKCON Temple here in Boston. I'm looking forward to having some questions answered and being a productive part of this community.

Newbie

Hello all,

I am Raven and I live in Sydney, Australia. I am very new to Krishna Consciousness. A friend of mine sent me a copy of the Bhagavad Gita last year and I received a copy of The Journey of Self Discovery by Swami Prabhupada. I am currently reading The Journey of Self Discovery and am finding myself identifying with everything written.

I have followed Tibetan Buddhism for some time, but I find myself disagreeing with the concept of anatta (no soul) I also wholeheartedly believe in God/Divinity and I strongly believe that Krishna Consciousness is the path for me. I am lucky to have a Vedanta House only a few houses down the road from me and I have contacted them about attending Bhagavad Gita classes. I am waiting for their reply (I only emailed them yesterday).

I have come here in the hope of learning more and hopefully being able to contribute meaningfully to conversations here.

Namaste,
Raven

Haribol!

Hare Krsna,
Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Greetings from Canada to all those out there in the wide web! I've been with ISKCON for some time (nearly 3 years as an initiate and a few years prior), but this is my first time reaching out in an electronic manner to other devotees. I recently moved to the countryside with my family and I am now at some distance from my local ISKCON temple and am therefore not able to associate directly with the devotees there as well anymore. As such I've begun to feel a little disconnected from the community. This, then, is my attempt to network through the web with other devotees.

So this, I suppose, is my big 'hello' to everyone.
